If I make an application to the council due to threat of possible violence how long would it take for them to house us? and would it have to be in the area I live in etc?

What are the circumstances? Are you a healthy, fit single man, a mother of young children or an OAP?

What is your present home? Home owner or tenant?

Hi, a possible threat of violence may not be enough, if you have been threatened with violence and feel you can no longer stay in your current accommodation you can apply to any local authority as a person fleeing violence. If you could be more specific with the details I may be able to help.
