I've just signed up for webhosting and am told that if I am behind a firewall then Port 2083 must be open to access the webmaster Control Panel, and Port 2096 for access to webmail. I haven't any idea how to deal with this. Can anyone please tell me where to look and what to do? XP and Norton Security.

What software are you using for it? Web control panels are normally web-based, and thus port 80, which will already be open.
