Is there any medical research that anyone knows of that says that it is better to use a laptop if the level is raised, i.e using a docking station or something similar, instead of flat on the table?

Hi jelly tot01, if my memory serves me correctly, when VDU's were first introduced to British industry; the H & S Executive looked into the safety aspects of using computers. There are recommended heights and distances for users of computer terminals in the workplace, supposedly to reduce the risk of RSI etc. Perhaps the H & E website can provide exact info? I'm sure you should be looking slightly down (5 or 10 degrees) at the screen not with it on your knees!
