Can anyone tell me if there are lockers for small goods at any railway stations in london.
I want to go shopping for the day, leave shopping in locker somewhere, go to concert, the pick up my shopping and go home. Can anyone help me please?

there are no lockers anymore (too big a risk), but there are "over the counter" services at several big stations. check out http://www.excess-baggage.com/rail_station_ser vices.php
There is a left luggage service at Waterloo main line station.
Mushroom25 has basically answered this question but I'll just add that, if you're using the rail station left luggage facilities, it's much better to take one large bag than several small ones because the charge is 6 per item.

If you are getting a late train home, check that the left luggage office will still be open when you get back to it - they are not open 24/7.

Another suggestion is that SOME concert venues have left luggage facilities - might be worth checking yours
That's a good point from Dzug. All left luggage facilities at central London stations close at 2300.

Many theatres & concert halls have cloakrooms. Try contacting the hall and ask if they accept things other than just coats in their cloakroom.
