When should my period return

A 30 year old new mother of 3 months hopefully in good health,can anybody inform me as to when my periods should return.Thanks

You don't say whether or not you are breastfeeding, periods usually return when you have finished.Otherwise it can take a few months for your hormones to return to normal after giving birth.
