i bought an xbox 360 from hmv back in september and i have noticed over the past 3-4 weeks that when i turn the volume down my xbox is making a loud motorised sound,It is not noticeable when the volume is up.what should i do in this case..?
If its causing some concern you need to phone Microsoft.
Remember the Xbox is fairly noisy a bit quieter than a PC. When an Xbox is under 1 year old you are still covered by the warranty. Not got the number but try the Xbox web site.
I had problems with my disc drive & tried to take it back to Argos and was told that all problem or faults were not covered by Argos. Microsoft manages all Xbox returns or repairs. When you phone them they are normally very helpful.
In my case that swapped my 360 for a new one (could be reconditioned?) Using UPS.
My 1st 360 went wrong in June after being purchased in December last year.I bought it in game and they were really good and allowed me to do a straight swap. You could try that with HMV.
