i.e 7

A friend has downloaded I.E 7. Rather than having many explorers open at once, it has 1 open with many tabs. I am a alt tab person who likes to flick through programs and windows rather than having to use the mouse.
Question is... is there a way to stop the tabs from opening on I.E 7 and to have each explorer open individually as it always has happened?

I.E7 opens new tabs on the same window..right? Rather than opening 5 explorers, i.e7 opens 1 explorer which instead opens 5 tabs.
Is there a way to stop i.e7 from opening a new tab everytime I want a new explorer open.
Say I want the answerbank, the bbc, my hotmail open at once... I don't want 1 explorer with 3 tabs... but want 3 individual explorer windows open so that I can alt and tab to run through them.
Is there something in tools which stops new tabs opening on i.e7?

With my browser I can hold Ctrl or Shift and click a link and it'll open in a new tab or window. Use Firefox!
Also, if you like keyboard shortcuts then Firefox with 3 tabs open : press Ctrl + 1 for the first tab, Ctrl + 2 for the 2nd etc.
Anyway, either go thru the settings as offered already or Shift & click the links.
