Fuel filler flap

Anyone any idea how much a fuel filler flap costs for a Renault Megane Scenic 02 plate ? Is a Renault dealer the best place to go ? Don't want to spend too much if possible

go to renault, get them to quote you for price of the part and fitting. get the part number as well. then try ebay or your local scrap yard. you shud be able to get the part cheaper here. shud be easy enough to fit yourself with a haynes manual, or take it to a garage and get them to fit it.
if you find the right part, but scratched or in the wrong colour, it may still work out cheaper to get the part resprayed, sand,prime and spray urself, or t-cut the marks off.
renault will almost certainly charge you a lot for the part, and for an hours labour. sourcing the part and fitting yourself/a local garage will be less.haynes manuals are �10 and very useful.
alternativly, there are many garages that work on french cars, bt at half the cost.

Thanks for that. I have tried ebay - nothing ! Dont have any good scrappies round by here so it may have to be Renault :(

By the way, why do you need a new fuel filler cap? With it being a fairly new car Renault might be your only option, if so the price will be around �45.00
