Man Haters
7 Answers
We have a real man hater in our office, and the question was recently raised as to whether there is a word for this, i.e, a female version of mysoginist (nobody in the office knew, so either there is no word, or we are not particularly erudite - I suspect the latter!).

Following on from the above figures a significant proportion of those were put down to crimes of passion and ou'll see that women just don't for whatever reason commit as many serious crimes as men.
Dear Sft, you appear to have misread my earlier response. What I said was: "many heinous crimes are committed by women as well as men." That is not at all the same thing as saying "as many heinous crimes are committed by women as men", which is what you imply I said. The position of the 'as' and the 'as well' are vital.
I wouldn't doubt your statistics re the far greater number of heinous - or, indeed, any - crimes being committed by men rather than women. They're pretty-well self-evident.
I have often pondered this question, and came up with the same answers. I feel there are truly man haters in this world. I've tried desperately to understand them. You can't blanket generalize about an entire gender. It seems like society looks at this hate as tongue & cheek, light hearted. Well let me tell you men can be abused. You would never believe the how many times I've been hit, and the sadistic things that have been said to me. Oh man haters abound. There actions seem to rarely have cosequences.
