How many of you had a school crush?

I fancied this guy throughout my whole time at secondary school! He was gorgeous.... all the girls liked him and me and him were good mates.... we flirted all the time and always made plans to sit next to eachother. I had fancied him since I was 11 and we got put next to eachother in Science (Year 7) and in year 11 we were still sitting next to eachother in Science (by choice). We finally kissed at a party in year 11 and then once we left school I never saw him again... :o(

But.... the other week my sister bumped into a guy I went to school with and he is still best mates with the guy I had a crush on.... he asked my sister for my number and we all met up on Saturday night.... we had a brilliant night and me and my crush spent the whole night chatting away and stuff... then we went back to their house and didn't leave until 7:30 in the morning! Since Saturday I have been on cloud nine and I feel like a kid again.... my crush is back!!!!! :o))))))

Does anyone else have a good 'crush' story? I just had to share mine.... :o))))))

The biggest crush I had looking back I have no idea why I had the crush and I�m sure he�s gay now. My first kiss at school also turned out to bat for the other side. But there was one lad who was my best mate boy mate at school, the one I�d always sit next to and he�d always be my lab partner, well I had a real secret crush on him, then I found out he was leaving and I psyched myself up to tell him how I felt, anyway on his last day at school he went to say goodbye and I said I�d see him at youth club that night and would say goodbye then ;-) anyway I got home that evening and my mum told me we weren�t going to youth club so I never got to say goodbye :-( 10 years later I found him on friends reunited and said goodbye :-)

Just have to say I'm thrilled for you 'cos I remember that feeling of elation so very well. The whole world looks different, can't keep the silly smile off your face, you can move mountains, butterflies in your tummy when you think of him and all that corny stuff. Its just magic and enjoy every minute of it!

I had a crush on a boy and a girl at the same time ! Quite hard to reconcile but equally valid. I suppose it was my gay phase. Both had incredible legs and cherubic faces. The uniforms were sexy too especially in the summer term, long socks and stocking tops.

Hey Ruby,

I had a bad work crush!! Was so into him and we got together for a short time but he dumped me for someone he'd aleady met!! He absolutely broke my heart and I was devastated!! Six years on he's just reappeared in my life and once again he's totally got to me!! The way he's acting I think he kinda feels the same (I know he always regretted finishing it with me), but only prob is he still has his girlfriend!! So only time can tell and we shall see what happens!! But I'm so glad he's back in my life!!

Awwww I had a huge crush on a lad at school, I remember going on a school trip with him to the theatre and when we got back he started getting off with some girl in the school carpark, I was gutted :(

Awwwwwww.. 4getmenot... it took 10years to say goodbye.. thats sad... at least you got to in the end! Thank God for Friends Reunited.

I have liked this guy for 11years and haven't seen him in 6yrs.... that was a long enough wait for me! I did actually try and find him a year ago but he had registered at Friends Reuntied but never added a profile and never checked it!

Wow... sorry guys... I took ages writing a reply then and by the time I clicked it, I had had 7 more answers. I am snowed under at work, been left in charge!

I am so chuffed about my crush but he does have a girlfriend and a kid... he has tried to break up with her many times and only stays coz she won't let him see the kid if he goes! I know its the same old story but I don't care.... he is lovely!

Its so nice that some of you have seen your crushes since.... it always feels like unfinished business and the feeling of a crush is amazing!

My ex boyfriend (the one who dumped me after 5yrs) was jealous of my school crush as he knew how much I used to like him... haha.. and now.. a year on from our break up I meet up with my old crush and have a face like the Cheshire Cat today! :o))))
