In Tesco they have got Reasons to be Cheerful the best of by Ian Dury and the Blockheads, this is a double CD always good for a sing along, including there aint half been some clever this should get yer Dad singing!!!
I think Other People's Lives is a very good album, but be warned, if you're expecting a Kinks album in everything but name, you'll be in for a surprise. Only two tracks - Next Door Neighbour and Is There Life After Breakfast - are what you'd call "Kinksy".

Much of the album is less quintessentially English than what you might expect - perhaps not surprising given that Ray has spent several years living in the US. Don't get me wrong, it still has plenty of Davies's trademark intelligent lyrics and good tunes - Over My Head, hidden track Thanksgiving Day and the aforementioned Life After Breakfast are good singalong tracks - and it's generally quite upbeat. Just don't expect The Kinks!
