I've just got a Philips widescreen T.V from a friend, the remote control is a Philips Match///line. I did not get a manual with it and have managed to get everything (cable and video) working but cannot get my PS2 working. I have tried disconnecting everything and putting the PS2 straight into the T.V but it still will not work. Do you have to manually tune in the PS2, if so can anyone tell me how to do it?

are you using the scart lead/RCAs or aerial connection for PS2?
If Scart/RCAs, should be tuned in already, though you'll have to select the correct AV channel because there's no auto-switching facility in the PS2 AV connection

its an aerial connection that I'm using, theres no scart connection on my PS2
you'll need to tune it in then. I think it's usually on the same frequency as a VCR, but you should be able to automatically tune it through the TV menu.
or you could buy a scart lead for it.
