vauxhall asra stalling
my car, a vaux astra estate has recently started to cut out. even while i am driving.... the bloody thing wont start again straightaway either!! some times it starts and runs for a few minuetes and when i try to pull away it dies on me.... its getting really stupid (and dangerous) now!
am at my wits end and just need to know if there is a simple fix before i try 30 per hour on a mechanic, as when it runs its great... but then this'll happen :(
any help would be great in advance thanks..

My astra sport did this and i had to have a new computer thingy fitted, dont know name sorry. No diagnostic check ever showed a problem and like yours it was cutting out for no reason at all times, even 70mph on dual carriageway once. Terrifying!
The car was only 2 years old so i had thing done under warranty but they still never managed to fix it. in the end i had to sell it as i didnt feel comfortable in it.
