Thank you Muffet I did get the poem and also found another one that Mum used to recite "The Little boy that Santa Claus Forgot" ahh! Apparently it was a song by Nat King Cole. Mum used to recite them while she plaited our hair. We listened so intently that we didn't cry when she tugged. 4 girls 2 plaits each!
