Hamster treats..

what can i give my hamster for a 'fresh' food treat? like fruit or veg wise?
Also is there anything in particular that they like as bedding?

My hamsters (Pepi and Aubrey) always liked chopped up apple or carrot nice crunchy things. I used to buy the bedding in the pet shop I don't think you can use just anything, best to check on that one. They used to do hamster treats in pet shop too like honey crunch or something like that.

Hey, mine loved fresh carrot cut into little sticks! And cucumber too. Apples were also a favourite! They aren't to eat lettuce, as far as I know.
Bedding wise, I always got Squishy and Seamus that cotton woolly stuff from Wilkinsons, about 50p a bag. Their downstairs bit was paper shreds, and their little upstairs spaces were filled with the soft stuff for sleeping in.

In addition to the above, my Chinese hamsters loved living in the cardboard inner tubes from toilet rolls. Hows that for recycling then?!

Oh yes I forgot about the inside of toilet rolls. They love those!!!
