I suggest that you get it up on the lastminute.com website for a more detailed description.
Incidentally, if you live in the Lancashire/Cumberland area Jet2.com do flights from Blackpool Airport at very reasonable prices.
Hope this is of assistance.

The hotel Vulcano in los cristianos has an excellent reputation, people return there year after year. its in a nice area too, on the edge of las americas which is a bit grotty even though its been done up. there is a whole wealth of new shops and bars near to the vulcano. the other area i would recommend is in Adeje, depends how much you want to spend. this area is quite elite though some hotels dont get a good write up. check out reviews on tripadvisor for example. good luck, we have an apartment out there and shall be out for xmas and new year. been going for over 10 years so decided to buy! in laws are out there from nov to feb!
Hi
I really like the Hacienda Del Sol in playa de les americas and have been there in February as well as September. The weather was pretty good about 22 to 24 degrees during the day and you only needed a jumper or cardigan in the evenings.
Even though its near Veronica's etc its still fairly quiet but your not far from the nightlife if thats what you fancy.
Your also only about 5 mins walk from the beach and shops/restaurants on the sea front so its a great location.
When I was there in February there were a few people who had been there around 6 weeks and one couple had transferred from a migh higher rated hotel and thought the hacienda was fantastic.

We've stayed in the 4* Iberostar Hotel Bouganville for the last 4 years or so. It is situated in Playa De Las Americas but the quieter end, right near Costa Adeje. The hotel next to it is good too although I can't remember the name of it right now. We have been in March and the weather has been fantastic.
Why not try fuerteventura. It has same climate with better beaches.A far better holiday if you ask me.
Also try this website below for great accommodation......

Hi Bubbles, many thanks for your reply.
Vulcano has been recommended by another
person! I also like the idea of the elite area in Adeje,
(because I'm spending the kids' inheritance) and would
like to know more about it, i.e. good hotels, as you say some of them are below par.
I will check these out with travel agents(if they can be trusted).
Kind Regards, cosmic dust.

dont know if you have already booked now?? we used to stay at the guaryamina princess and thought it was great. however, it was taken over by thomson about 5? years ago and it became like a holiday camp with activities going on all the time which made the place seem less relaxing and more rowdy. it depends what you are looking for. if you go on holiday reviews website you should get more of an idea. some hotels in adeje we have stayed in: hotel costa adeje supposed to be 5 star but definitely not and consensus of lots of people, restaurant food is poor and the carvery service so slow, like a canteen. anthelia park fabulous but pricey, costa fanabe dingy, needs a refurb and mouldy sunbed cushions, bahia del duque 5 star and luxurious, would cost you a fortune for an extended stay but worth a try for a treat at some point, jardines tropical a bit germanic though very nice and in a nice spot, in las americas, in laws went to bouganvillea, said it was good, in los cristianos the arona gran is the best one for us, looks out over the harbour, again pricey i would imagine for a long stay. the vulcano as i already said seems the best buy and has a good write up. let us know what you have decided and happy extended! hols. lucky you!!
