Hi, on a website I visit it has links that open new windows to display some pages. When I click the 'close' link on that page I always get a confirmation box saying:
"the web page you are viewing is trying to close the window"
with a yes/no option.
I've looked all through the internet settings and can't find the option to turn this off, so it automatically closes them. Can someone help please!
Thanks.

The closing of a window can be done in various ways, and some will result in prompting some/all of the time. I don't think there's anything you, as a user, can do to stop this message. It's down to how the webpage was written.
