Haven't been watching for the past week - it's beginning to get very boring -- but just wondered -- have they cut down on using the animals in the tasks??

Actually I thought that too. Perhaps there was too much of an outcry about cruelty.

Pleasure I hope more people do it. But have they cut down on using animals in the trials?? And I would love to know what happens to the animals after the task, are they just left to die like the toads that were thrown down the well?

No they haven''t cut down, Jan and Scott still did the "eating live insects" trial.

Jan also did one with snakes, another with animals that had to break plates that the stars were under.

Plus there were loads fired over Scott and David during tasks

im sure when dean did his first task ant and dec made a point of telling him to be careful not to hurt the crocs..maybe they'd had too many complaints...

I gave up watching it about 4 nights in and i HAVE LOVED EVERY OTHER SERIES BUT THIS YEAR IT WAS A LOAD OF NEAR TOTAL NON-ENTITIES
