deleting cookies?

I thought these were biscuits but apparently not. Can anyone tell me how to delete these 'temporary internet files'?

At the top of your screen click on "Tools" then click on "Internet Options" whic will bring up a box to delete cookies and temporary internet files as well as history...
Better still download CCleaner form the software website file hippo or do a Google search - this will also clear other unwanted files

PS use Firefox browser for best browsing experience and safety online do a Google search and read the reviews you'll never look back!!
Cookies aren't necessarily the evil you think. They can be quite useful if you return to websites as they 'remember'you
If I deleted mine I'd be constantly typing in passwords again
Ccleaner is brill. You can select cookies you want to keep to stop you having to type in passwords all the time and it gets rid of all the rubbish.
