So Busted!
4 Answers
Have discovered (v recent) boyfriend has been economical with the truth. [he recently visited London for business and social reasons and omitted to tell me that another mutual girlfriend was also with the group. this emerged quite by accident in the pub recently] What's the best way to let him know he's rumbled while retaining dignity and cool? Am more upset by the lack of respect and his arrogance than by the actual misinformation. Thanks for your thoughts.

Plus he ran through every other person who was there. I know they're good friends and am not concerned about a 'romantic' twist, just concerned that in terms of general honesty it's a bit dodgy.
Thanks for your thoughts. It's made me take a fresh look at the situation.

doesn't really sound like either arrogance or lack of respect. He didn't mention it either because he forgot or because he didn't want you to know. if by mutual girlfriend you mean she was actually his gf at some stage, you're right to raise your eyebrows. Anyway, why not just tell him 'I saw X today and he told me that Y was with you in London, how come you didn't mention her?' Try not to sound jealous about it (though I suspect you are a bit, as I would be), the point is to observe his reaction... shifty or not?
