point n click pc games

i put my lack of manual dexterity down to my age and having not grown up with playstations / x-boxes, but have discovered that i really like puzzle solving point and click games - where you have to combine items and use them in a certain way. can you recommend any?

My personal favourites are the Monkey Island games; they tend to be pretty funny, not to mention challenging. There is also one by the makers of Monkey Island called Grim Fandango which I am on at the moment.

Another game by the people who brought you the Monkey Island series is Sam and Max who have recently had a new outing available in episodic form from http://www.telltalegames.com

Also there is a little known point and click adventure called
Touche - the adventures of the fifth musketeer which is very funny and the complete game can be found on the net if you search for it.

You will love the Myst series of games. You could also try The Sims. Not puzzle oriented, but point-and-clicky never the less. Let us know how you get on. PM.

potatoman - haha, i have tried one of the sims games. i got stuck when i purchased a shower to put in my flat, and i installed it with the shower door against the wall. i just could not work out how to move the darned thing. as a result i was unable to wash, and got very smelly, with flies buzzing around my head and every time i approached someone they screwed their noses up at me and walked away. i thought, if i cant even get the hang of something simple at the start of the game, i dont stand a chance!!
