I saw 2 programmes last year , on e was Blue Peter , the other was presented by Bill Bryson. The subject was London Underground stations that are no-longer used , but still preserved in the same state as the day they closed. Does anyone know who , what , where or how I can find out more about their locations??

One of them is Down Street opened in 1907 closed 1932 and was used by churchill and his many assistants (up to 60) during the war as a bunker. It's on the piccadilly line somewhere between green park and holborn
I found the following website which I think will tell you what you want to know, and much more besides. http://www.starfury.demon.co.uk/uground/
I believe www.thetube.com has a section all about disused underground stations and there is a book all about them too
One is Aldwych station - stopped being used about 5 years ago.
The platform of St Mary's disused station can be seen from a District line train just before arriving at Tower Hill on the eastbound.
