My escort gti does not acelerate well when you floor it. It judders arter about 3 n a half thousand revs. I had the fuel pump replaced and had no effect. I removed the KnN induction kit and replaced with the standard air box and that had no effect. its been like this for a while. it was serviced recently with plugs,leads and timeing belt. can aynone help me please!?

Sounds to me like the catalytic convertor could be blocked which is quite common on escorts. You need to disconnect the exhaust before the cat temporarily and then try and rev it. Good luck.
