hi i have just bought a ford focus saloon 1.8 LX TDDI on an 02 plate can any one tell me if this should have remote central locking i was supplied with 2 normal keys with the car with the blue chips on them i no that is to do with the immobiliser system on fords any info would be appreciated as my local dealer want charge me to have a look

Yes , definately 100% . You should have one key fob that has three buttons on it. One to unlock , one to lock and one is a boot release . These are quite expensive from Ford . All model focuses right from the cl model up to the RS have the same set up with the keys .
