Can anyone here give me tips on filling out Council Job Application forms? I'm stuck on additional info as I heard there is a certain way to do it.

Take the person specification and match WITH EVIDENCE your skill, knowledge and experience. There is nothing wrong with presenting this page in the same format as the person spec which will make it very easy for the shortlisters to see if you meet first the essentials then the desirables, Don't be afraid of giving too many examples as points are awarded for each requirement. This should ONLY be followed if you DO meet all the essential requirements. If you don't you will not be shortlisted. Hope this helps.
I used to work for a council and really there's nothing different to how you should fill in an ordinary job application. Look at what qualities they want then adapt what you write to fit those criteria. And good luck!
