I have 6 bin bags of clothes (some very nice but alas too small for me now!) and 3 bin bags of paperback novels that I want to give them to charity but which ones will come and collect?

Most of the larger charities will collect, but you may have to wait a while before they can do so. Best thing to do is decide which charity you'd like to give them to and phone them to arrange pick-up.
Some charities regularly post bags through the letterbox asking for donations of clothes.games.books,etc. Shouldn't be a problem for them to collect. Personally,I would make sure it's a registered charity. Help the aged, oxfam and suchlike
theirs a wide variety of charities to choose from ie oxfam, red cross.nspcc
Salvation Army collect
Scope collect KittyC. Or at least in Cardiff they do,give them a ring to find out. I had one of those charity bags thro' my letterbox. We sorted out what we did'nt want, put it out on the day specified but some "Traveller's" passed by and took the lot! That's why we give to Scope now.
