i would really love to learn how to dance (not to an especially good level - it would just be for fun!) and i was wondering if any dancers out there could reccomend a fun (easy?) style. i was thinking maybe tap or jazz..any ideas? thanks!
(also, is it near-impossible and almost ludacris to consider trying to learn ballet? im not too sure if im the right build and im already 17..) thanks

I was put in dancing school from 4 years old and did ballet, tap, modern and other types of dance and loved it.
Ballet is hard, check if there are any adult classes for more of a hobby type. It can be very hard to progress to a high level, very dependant of figure (even Darcy Bussell isn't a normal ballet figure!!) and takes a lot of training even to get onto point, years of geting your feet ready - never try it on your own - one my tapdance teachers did before she was ready, broke her toes and could never do ballet again!
How about checking out salsa/latin classes (La Tasca restaurants do them if you're near one) or trying your local gym as some do classes there.
Tap is a lot of fun and i'm sure you;ll be able to find classes somewhere :)
