You will feel odd at first but it will pass and is nothing compared to giving in and having one. Just think of all the lovely extra oxygen your body is getting :)
When i quit i found making the thought of smoking, smell everything make me feel physically sick, i treated myself to some lovely smelly stuff so celebrate the fact I didn't stink anymore and that i could smell them and some fruity lipsalves.
I went to lovely coffee shops and places i avoided before cos i couldn't smoke in them like Starbucks. I'd take a paper or magazine in and just sit in the warm smoke fre atmosphere and have a lovely drink and some ginger snaps :)
Avoid smoky bars like the plague and people smoking round you when you've had a few drinks.
You can get an inhalator for a quick fix if needed.
Well done :) xxx

Don't be a martyr - use patches! My friend is on them now and she reckons this will be the time she'll manage to give up - after many unsuccessful tries. Good luck it'll be worth it in the end. You'll be much nicer to kiss for a start! (Not that I'd want to kiss you - I'm a girlie too and not that way inclined! but you get my drift......)
