Personal Ads

Hiya!
For my English Language coursework, I'm doing Personal Ads. Does anyone know on what day personal ads are in papers such as: The Times, The Guardian, Daily Star and the Sun? Any other papers days are welcome also!

You should try and get a copy of Private Eye (out fortnightly), the private ads in there often make for interesting reading.

My friend met his wife thru a spoof ad we put in the local rag.

We made up an ad for a friend (as a joke) and received some replies. Some sounded a bit odd, but one girl sounded really nice - and we felt bad for deceiving her. So my co-conspiritor offered to take her for a drink to apologise. A few years later - married. Still makes me smille to think of it : )
