We shall be having a cold buffet. Still have a turkey crown, stuffing and sausagemeat but there wont be a sprout in sight! We have 9 for lunch including 3 children and I decided last year after my sister and I spent most of the day in the kitchen that we would have a cold lunch this year without all the hard work!
We are still discussing the menu but it will have loads of different meats, cheeses, salads and pickles. Personally I cannot wait!!!!

We're going with goose, a beef joint stuffed with mushrooms and tarragon, as well as all the usual veg you get with a roast dinner. My sister is in charge of the puddings, again we're being traditional.
My aim is not to cook as if it's the feeding of the five thousand, just the five of us who are actually going to be present.
We'll have the usual cold buffet stuff ready to feed guests and ourselves with at a moments notice.
