What's the song and who sings it? It sounds kind of Beatle'ish.

It's from the new M&S advert where the women dance around and I think one of them is Twiggy.

The song in the advert went to No. 6 in the charts in January 1978 and is called Mr Blue Sky by ELO (Electric Light Orchestra)

It's a known fact the Jeff Lynne, composer and vocalist for the ELO is a massive Lennon fan - and it certainly shows in his songs, and his way of singing them. Check out their 'On The Third Day' album - it's Lennon-esque in the extreme.

Yes, I would never have guessed it was done by ELO as it doesn't sound like anything I've heard from them before. But saying that I haven't got a collection or anything.
