Scars

Has anyone else got a scar on their face? Does it make you self conscience or do you just forget about them? I have two, only one I think is majorly visible though (the other ones faded very well). If you do, where are they and how did you get them?

Yes on the piece of skin between my nose and lips, it is a triangle shaped one.

I got it learning to ride a bike, my brother was holding on the back of it and let go I saw this and raced off like a madwoman and promptly collied with the side of a parked van, toppled over handlebars onto the road, I've still got the scar on my knee too.

I do forget about it until every now and then I take a closer look. I also have a stupid mole on my chin that needs to come off but will leave a bigger scar then what is there apparently.

I have spider naevis under my eye sa well, maybe scars or marks are like buses lol

I have a scar on my forehead to the bridge of my nose which was a childhood "mishap".

I have a 1" scar on my left cheek bone when I had a fight with a tree, doesn't bother me.

I won the fight, chopped it down when I got back from hospital.

I have lots of scars on the left hand side of my face due to not wearing seatbelt in a car crash. The have faded a bit but when its really cold or really hot they go bright red.

Scar on my nose, small scar on top lip, scar on forehead = caused by motorbike accident years ago. Small scar on left cheek caused during active service in the army (my war wound).
None of them are too obvious, and I dont worry about them although scar on my top lip is difficult to shave around - I tried a moustache but it looks too gay and I have a big hole in it where the scar is anyway.

Someone was asking about this the other day and there is some special makeup called Dermablend which is so good for covering these sort of marks.

My best friend was in an accident and now has a 'Harry Potter' style scar on her forehead. She is a very pretty girl, but I cannot believe how much boys love it!!! She is loving all the attention too, and they think it's really hot/cute. So not always a bad thing having a scar....

I have a scar on my eyebrow where my eyebrow piercing grew out. I also have varius small scars on my forehead and by my eyes fromwhere my dad "cleverly" asked me to fetch him a screwdriver from upstairs when i was about 4 years old...i slipped on the way downstairs and the screwdriver scraped my face nearly taking my eye out...im glad i dont remember that lol

Stupidly I dived into a pool when I was ****** 12 years ago....could have been a heck of a lot worse so I got lucky really. I have a scar which seems to have faded a lot more recently, on the bridge of my nose. Every year or so, I can stick a pin in it and drain it like bleeding a radiator - very odd. Then the scar fades for months and comes back later.
Once I did this and some grains of what seemed to be concrete came out...nice!!

lol sunflower. I sometimes go ages without thinking of mine (as I don't look at my forehead that often lol) then suddenly I think about them and start looking at them. I'd measured them before I started this topic (first time since I got them 10 years ago, not bad lol)

Duh! Didn't mention I have a 1" scar from the middle of my nose that goes under my eye and a 1/2" scar on the top of my forehead (I've also got a scar and lump just barely underneath my hairline thats in line with my eye, luckily thats not visible!). Was a tad anorexic when I was younger, when I was 16, I didn't feel well one afternoon, went upstairs to my bedroom, sat on the edge of my bed, stupidly thought 'I'll go downstairs', stood up, then fainted onto a glass that was on the table beside my bed. I did get to miss my french exam because of it tho lol
