It's called (funnily enough) 'Walking in the Air'. It was originally sung by, I think, Anthony Way, but it was Aled Jones who recorded the single and made it famous.
We bought our first video recorder just before Christmas 1982 and the first thing we taped was The Snowman. It wasn't long before the tape hade worn out!
It's a classic - Christmas wouldn't be the same without it.
I watched Aled Jones singing it on TV at the weekend. It was a mix of him when he was a young lad & as he is now. It was quite clever how they did & I couldn't get it out of my head afterwards!
That song makes me wish i could play the violin.
The dvd is only 4.99 at woolworths.Great xmas prezzie. I work there by the way. Im unfortunatley not on commision.hahaha
