Modem trouble
3 Answers
Hi everyone,
In my house we use the internet all the time and whilst me and my dad use the modem on the family computer, my brother uses it on his laptop.
We have loads of arguments about who has the internet and when etc and we need a solution ASAP!
Could anyone tell me whether or not it is possible to have two modems in the house, opperating on one internet source?
I would be grateful for any responses! Thank You.

You need to look at connecting your computers with a network, either cable or wireless, and sharing one modem.
Cable is probably cheaper, but going for wireless now will partly future-proof you when you move to ADSL.
And why aren't you moving to ADSL (broadband)?! If you consider spending money on network hardware, consider going for an ADSL wireless router.
