recording from digital box without a phone line to a video tape
1 Answers
Help!! I wish to tape from a digital Sky box without a telephone line( I live overseas) to my video recorder. However, I am unable to. What do I have to do with regards to Scart cables, tuning and the like? As you may have guessed, I am not the brightest technically and would really appreciate some assistance.

The easiest way is to connect the video and sky box by a scart lead (the sky box should have two - one for the TV and one for the video).
Then set your video channel to AV or something similar (you won't need to tune it as such) and away you go.
You can only tape the sky channel you're watching, although you can watch terrestrial while taping sky.
