Which of you thinks Diana was murdered?
Today claims that driver Henri Paul was 3 times over the (alcohol) limit have apparently been confirmed. Yet we'll almost certainly never know for sure if his blood samples were switched. And the verdict still seems unconvincing against footage of Paul just minutes before clearly having no problem walking, or even balancing while doing up his shoelaces. Do you think Di was assassinated? I do. And I'd love to know what her sons really think.

She is a bigger headache dead than she ever would have been alive. She was divorced, no longer a member of the Royal family and could frankly, do what she wanted. Sarah Ferguson has had some strange liaisons since her divorce, but no one has sought to bump her off. And given that Charles has been banging on about being Head of Faiths, the fact that Diana was (allegedly) about to marry a muslim (which I don't believe for one minute - they had only been "seeing" each other for a matter of weeks) should have had no impact whatsoever. Plus as has already been pointed out, a car "accident" is hardly a sure fire way of assassinating someone.
3 x the legal limit, plus high speed chase for which Paul was not properly trained, plus no seat belts was always going to end in disaster - just as it does (very sadly) every single day on our roads.
I feel sorry for her sons. It can't be nice having their mother's life and death raked over in the media every single day.

It is very easy if you have a warped mind to cause another person to have a car accident:
1. You wait in a side turning and when the intended victim approaches from the right you jump forward a few inches causing him/her it to swerve and possibly turn the vehicle over..
2. You approach diagonally from a slip road into the path of your intended victim causing him to swerve to an outside lane and possibly hit another vehicle.
3. You overtake the victim and cut in sharply causing him to brake or to swerve to an outside lane.
These deliberate scenarios are unlikely to happen in Britain because we are a civilised society and usually only happens in the movies. But these cases illustrate why so many die on Britain's roads every day!

Because she was paranoid daisy and desperate .I apologise for my 'ANTI-bRITISH twits " remark ,feeling a little tired and desperate myself when I answered. I am fed up of people putting England and the Monarchy down ,anyone who thinks a Republic would be better wants to try living in one first. It's funny (peculiar) how many migrants come from Republics to live in our Monarchy ruled country, they know which side their bread is buttered on !!!
Why is all the empthasis on the assassination of Lady Diana? Isnt there a slight chance that Dodi Fayed was the target and it was just unfortunate that lady Di happened to be in the car? Dodi was a re-knowned playboy and from a large business family. I'm sure he or his family must've upset a few unsavoury charachters along the way.
It was an accident - driver was drunk and speeding, they weren't wearing seatbelts - how much clearer does it it need to be?
I never liked the woman but I feel dreadfully sorry for her sons - when will people just give it a rest - do you think that constantly having it in the papers, constantly raking over very very old news helps them in any way at all.
Put yourselves in their shoes - imagine it was your mother that had been killed - how would you like it if a bunch of complete strangers kept telling you she was murdered by your own family.
This complete obsession with someone who was nothing more than a limelight seeking, publicity courting waste of space is utterly ridiculous, just as ridiculous as all the pathetic wailing that went on around her funeral.

I think everyone should keep an open mind when it comes to the Royals. Wasn't the Duke of Edinburgh, a mason, interviewed by the police on this matter? Wasn't Charles caught in a compromising position with his right hand man by a butler who was later pronounced insane. Maybe Diana knew more than most and was in a position to spill more beans!
Barmaid has hit the nail on the head.
Why would they assasinate her? It's so incredibly high-risk for very little potential gain.
Weigh up what these shadowy powers-that-be would gain from her death and compare it to the consequences of them being caught.
It's basically 'Future king has muslim half-brother' vs 'Monarchy/government collapses after being exposed as murderers'.
It's an absolute no-brainer.
But then again, MAYBE THAT'S WHAT THEY WANT ME TO THINK.

What we all must remember is the fact that love or loath her she had a great deal of "sway" with many beurocrats remember how she was successfully managing to get land mines abolished. Imagine what would happen to the economics of MANY countries if she were to be responsible of for the banning of many other weapons of war. She was "got at" alright
IMHO this was no accident, and if 'they' could do it to someone so high profile then none of us are safe-remember the controversy regarding the 'death' of Dr David Kelly
there are far too many suspicions regarding Diana's death-e.g. the tunnel was re-opened within hours, something that usually does not happen till after the police have gathered all the evidence available, her body was enbalmed within 2 hours which is illegal in France - this should not happen till the cause of death has been ascertained,
I could go on but I will stop there because, to me, if it was a straight forward crash then the aftermath would have been straight forward, which it clearly has not been.
And just as a footnote
a) I cannot understand why Prince Charles went to Paris to accompany her body home, very much in bad taste I feel and
b) her coffin was put on a gun carriage for her funeral procession - the ultimate insult...
