where do you keep yours? and what are they like? are they all silver because i got a lovely set of black ones today so im feeling quite smug i cant wait to attack my saucepan with them later, how often do you buy them and where do you buy them and why does no one talk about them are they the most underrated object in the house, have you ever used them for another purpose ie when your haemorrhoid's start to itch?

Mine are silver. I buy them once a month from Tesco. I keep them in the cupboard under the sink. I only ever use them to clean pots and pans.x

If you invest in a good quality saucepan, e.g. Meyer Anolon, you will not need brillo pads.

And never, never, use them on haemorrhoids, far too dangerous. Use a bare finger for safety.

Mine are silvery pink, i use them when i'm cleaning the barbecue or to get gloss paint of my hands if i've run out of white spirit, i tend to only buy one pack per year as i don't cook, i buy them from the Hardware shop because i'm a real man {tesco's lol}
i do believe that they are very underrated, but so's sugar soap.

Mine are deep pinky/red. Cheap ones from Asda. keep them under the sink. Only use them on oven bars.

I only ever use mine for cleaning the hob. I use a brand new one every time (how frivolous) as once used, they go rusty. But I only ever buy official Brillo Pads - non branded is simply below me. But I hate it when a piece of wire sticks in your finger. Can't they make a pad with the wire-wool bit on one side and something more comfortable to hold on the other? Or would this be yet another symptom of a nanny-state?

pink coloured ones from asda, i use them to clean my cooker and the other day used them to get paint off the wood in my bathroom, worked a treat as well, another use found for brillo pads : )

I don't like the smell of brillo pads - they reek!! I buy the foam one side rough green bit on the other and a bit of elbow grease!!

I dont need them for my pan as nothing ever sticks to it - it's anodised or whatever...and it's a Dansk (best pan ever) :)
