50/60's Telly

Can anyone help with this one. I used to watch on childrens telly in the late fifties or early sixties, an adventure programme in which the hero's were a couple of cargo plane pilots (I think), and the superbaddie was a villain known simply as 'the voice', because he always talked from behind a screen. Q. What was the programme called and who played the hero and the villain.
Please, this has been driving me and my sister mad for 30 years now.
