I recently broke the plastic around the output area, on where my guitar amp lead plugs into my guitar.
And i was wondering if it was possible, to repair this myself, if it is then where can i buy the plastic from?
Nothing else is damaged, just the plastic coat.
This happened when my guitar, fell of my guitar strap, with the lead plugged into the output, it shattered the plastic surrounding the area, so if you can help me, please give me the information.
Thanks, M

It depends what make and model your guitar is, but usually you can find a replacement part and literally just unscrew the old and screw on the new. Bare in mind you'll need to take off the strings before doing this because it won't slide in.
It's also best to look at the input socket too (what you've been calling the output), it could be loose and cause some trouble when playing later on with an amp etc.
