what tv drama in the late 80s??

can anyone on here remember a tv drama series in the late 80s that had a character called icky in it ( it definately wasnt "one summer") i know that had a character in it called icky but it wasnt that, this drama series involved 4 lads on a council estate one had a very light blue ford capri that he crashed and one of them died, i know its not a lot to go on, but my dad says it was brilliant, it also involved drug use, any body help?? thnx

hi thanx for your reply but no it wasnt 1 summer, there cant of been that many shows with the character icky in it, i think one of the lads used to get beat up off his dad and it was on either bbc2 or ch4 it was really good.

the character might of been called hicky or icky, thats the only name i remember in it, im sure it was on bbc2 around 9pm or 10pm as it was for the late teen audience,
