Driving in the UK

Is it true that, if you were born after 1st March 1988, you must be 18 to drive cars in the UK?

No. Though the test rules did change a few years back whereby you need to do a multiple choice test before the practical test. Also, if you get any points on your license within a year after passing, you have to retake the test.

I guess you mean "Provisional Licenses. And no, you don't need to be 18...
