Changed my handbag this morning and amazed at all the stuff in it!!

What do you girls have in yours and guys what do you always have to carry round with you?

Well this gave me a chance to finally get round to clearing out my bag, here's what I found:

Purse
Receipts
Loose change (37p)
Happy Meal toy (sons)
Keys
11 pens (Why I have that many I'll never know)
Batteries (don't know what they're doing there)
Floppy disc

Packet of tissues
Various leaflets
calculator (broken)
Son's compass (That must be what keeps stabbing me)

No wonder my shoulder hurts so much!!

I absolutely hate having stuff jingling away in my pockets.
So I carry only what I absolutely have to, such as house keys. I'll only carry money or plastic if I'm actually planning on spending any.
But I always carry my Leatherman penknife. It's massively useful and is a great substitute for fingernails.

I used to carry everything but the kitchen sink around with me in a tote bag until the day some rat stole my bag from my place of work. This was several years ago now but it niggles me to this day at times. Some of the stuff in it was irreplacable ..but the fact that we had to have all the locks changed on the house and cancel stuff like cards etc was a nightmare . Plus there was a Filofax in it with lots of info peoples names addresses personal info etc. Nothing ever came of it but it worried me for ages.The police said it was probably an opportunist thief looking for money for drugs and the bag itself was probably in a bin somewhere. OK I wasn't mugged or hurt physically and worse things happen at sea but it makes you anxious. I used to carry my life around in my bag !! So since then I just carry a small bag,a little cash , one card ,a hairbrush , packet of tissues and lippie and that's it !
