cockerel or capon?

Thinking of cooking one of these for my inlaws for xmas as they say they dont like goose! Any recommendations?

You'll be lucky to find a real cockerel, as well. Best place would be a farm or smallholder who keeps hens. See if they'll sell you one.

Remember a cockerel will be rather tougher than the chicken you usually get, but they are really tasty if cooked right.
