Noooooooooooo- Please help!

Hi guys!

I really need your help! I've just gotten back from my holiday, gone to view my photos on my PC and it's saying that the (XD) card is not formatted! I've just put it back in the camera and it's now saying 'Card not initialized'. I might cry! Can anyone help me at all please? ALL my pictures were on it, and I was able to look at them on the camera before.
