Should a new law relating to 'sales' be introduced. The current rule I believe is that the goods must have been on sale at the higher price for 28 consecutive days in the last six months. It seems that stores now have continuous sales, just by rotating the goods to cover the rules, which also, conveniently, allows them to inflate the 'original' price just to reduce it at a later date.

As long as the shops have had the item at a higher price in ANY of it`s stores they can reduce it.

I was going to ask 'Do they have a shop in some obscure place where everything is displayed before it goes on sale elsewhere?' but thought it might sound too cynical!

Another thing - when you are researching sales - on the net or anywhere - why are all prices so close to each other?
