Gastric Flu

My whole family caught gastric flu about a month ago really bad.. It took a couple of weeks as it passed from person to person before we were ok. A week ago my daughter started it again and now it is once again passing through the family.. The doctor came today and said his surgery was full of the same today and it is all over the area.. We feel really run down and worse as christmas is approaching.. Are there lots of people suffering like us..
