So after Nearly 4,000,000 spent on one inquiry & 800,000 on another we now now that Diana's death was caused by a drunk driving accident & that there are criminals making money from football. Hardly earth shattering is it. What a waste of time & money!

I assume you are exercised about the "waste" of public money & time? An awful lot of people in this country felt there was something off about Diana's death, you had Al-Fayed making all sorts of claims about cloak and dagger arrangements between Royalty and MI6, and this comprehensive report showed otherwise.
It was in the public interest and therefore of value.
The report about football agents was, as far as I am aware, commissioned and paid for by the FA, so not out of the public purse, and was of interest to those of us who follow football. As a consequence of the report, the FA are changing the rules surrounding transfers and agents just for starters......sounds like a good thing to me.

No I haven't read the reports. I presume you have. From what i've heard the people who the people who thought there was someting off with Diana's death probably still do .
As for the football. In the Panorama report that instigated the whole thing there was ample evidence of wrong doing. Do you believe that the F.A . in light of there recent history of ignoring what's going on in the real world will take any more notice of this report than they did of the 1997 one. I also follow football & would have thought that naming & shaming the guilty managers , agents & players would have been a lot more of a deterant .
