I know of. B.S.F, Whitworth and metric, is there any other type please?

various screw standards on this page
also, German Sagengewinde thread, Thury Horological thread, Edison screw thead and theres quite a few more, you'll struggle to find anything with the first 2 threads at B & Q but the Edison thread in various sizes will be on torch bulbs and spotlights.
There's also the 'Acme' thread as used on vehicle jacks and bench vises, where the load could strip or bind a normal 'V-cut' thread.
