Samsung SGH Z140V

Hi! I've just bought a Samsung Z140V on vodaphone from ebay. It seems to work fine, but I can't figure out a couple of things on it.

I tried sending a shortish text and went to send, and it came up with - send 3 messages? The text wasn't very long at all and my old phone would have sent it in one. So short texts are going to cost me the price of 3 texts instead of one?

Also, when I tried to go on vodaphone live to look at ringtones, it only gives you a contract wap option, and I'm on pay as you go. Does anybody know why I've got these 2 problems. Sorry to be so thick, but I'm not that good with technology. Thanks.

for the first problem try a hard reset ie pull the battery out ofthe back of the phone and then take sim card out and then but the battery back in without the sim and power up and then u will see a sign saying ' insert sim' pull the battery out again and put the sim back in and power up.Do this twice and dont switch the phone on/off by the button

Send your self the ota settings for your phone for the vf website for payt and not contract link is below matey,Let me know how you go ok

I've just tried what you said and guess what - it's worked. Can't thank you enough. You've saved me from chucking a perfectly good phone out of the window, lol.
