Crashing PC

I have worked out what keeps making my PC crash and the blue screen of death appear. It is whenever I try to burn tracks using windows media player. When I click on a song and "add to burn list" it appears in the list, but if I then try and add a second, the whole system crashes and I get the blue screen and a "serious error" message.

How can I correct this? Should I uninstall Windows Media Player and reinstall it again off their website?
Help!!!
